Every year just after the fall season arrives, the Black Hills Powwow & Games committee, headed by President Stephen Yellowhawk and supported by the rest of the committee and staff, organizes a great gathering for the indigenous people of North America (and all over the world!) with dance and games which are entirely supported by local and regional donations. It is truly a beautiful sight to behold and an experience like no other. I am honored to have been given the opportunity to come again this year and be a part of this powerful event October 9-11, 2015. In the Lakota language, the Black Hills Powwow & Games is the "He Sapa Wacipi Na Oskate".

In years past of 2012 and 2014 I donated my time and talents to this event and captured many great images. I was able to gift these images to the Black Hills Powwow committee free of charge. These images are used for future years' campaigning, donation raising, web site, historical preservation and media representation. I have...
